Acne, Blemishes - Apply Lavender Essential Oil or Purification Oil Blend with a Q-tip directly on the affected area. Lavender is very gentle and safe and is a skin regenerator. Purification is antibacterial and antiviral.

Allergies, Sinus Congestion - Inhale Peppermint, Thieves or Eucalyptus directly from the bottle. You can do this many times a day, no drugs and no side-effects. The vapors from these oils helps clear sinus congestion, bring oxygen into the body and fight bacteria, mold and fungus in the body.

Diet & Weight Loss - Grapefruit Essential Oil helps support metabolism, fat loss and detoxification. Grapefruit has been used as a diet aid for many years. Using Grapefruit Essential Oil is even more effective since 1-2 drops is many times more powerful than eating the fruit. Grapefruit oil is a metabolic stimulant for obesity, helps dissolve fat and is cleansing for the kidneys. It also has many powerful antioxidants that support the immune system. Therapeutic Grapefruit Essential Oil can be used internally - just one drop on the tongue is very effective, or add a drop to a tsp. of honey, agave or applesauce, etc…. You can take it before meals, during or after. Don’t add to water since it will coat the glass. To use directly on the body - add one drop to 2-3 drops of a good carrier oil or lotion and massage the areas of cellulite, or massage the arches of the feet (stomach & liver reflex points). Remember - Grapefruit Oil and other citrus oils should not be used on skin that will be exposed to sunlight as they can cause a photosensitive reaction so use before bed or after outdoor activity.

Caution - Grapefruit Essential Oil can interact with many medications, including blood pressure meds. Please consult your pharmacist for information if you are taking medications BEFORE deciding to use Grapefruit Essential Oil.

Dry or Chapped Skin - Lavender or Purification Blend is ideal. Lavender is safe and gently for delicate skin as well as safe and gentle for children.

Freshen Your Water Bottle - Add 1-2 drops of Peppermint essential Oil to your water bottle to maintain freshness and increase oxygen.  You can also add 1-2 drops of Lemon, Orange or Citrus Fresh Blend Essential Oils to your bottle. Please use common sense and caution when using essential oils for your water bottle. Use only those essential oils that are food-based. Some essential oils are toxic when taken internally and should NEVER be used internally.

Health Note: Beware of using any essential oils in regular personal size plastic water bottles like you buy at the grocery store. These bottles are made of a lower grade plastic (PET plastic) and according to many studies, including Science News, you may end up drinking "estrogenic chemicals" from bottled water. Besides the esisting chemicals in the bottled water, the effect of essenital oils on the plastic is unknown. Glass or stainless bottles are recommended as a healthier choice.

Hand Sanitizer - Use 1 drop of Lavender Essential Oil, Lemon or Citrus Blend Essential Oil, Orange Essential Oil or Thieves Blend. Rub on hands to distrubute. Do not touch your eyes after putting oils on your hands.

Many contain various chemicals as well as a high level of alcohol which can adversly affect children who put their hands in their mouth after use. Using a pure and gentle but powerful essential oil is another option to using alcohol based sanitizers.

Cautions - Photosensitivity - Some oils can cause PHOTOSENSITIVITY, which means they could cause a reaction on the skin when exposed to sunlight (or tanning beds!)
